This is a beautifully elegant, refined and intense Sangiovese with a deep, opaque ruby colour, it offers intense aromas of dark fruit, tobacco, oak and herbs. The palate is full-bodied, ripe and dried fruit flavours (especially black cherry, plum), as well as chocolate, some spice and sweet vanilla notes. The age has beautifully mellowed the tannins and acidity, which feel perfectly integrated. A real treat!
