I was excited about this wine as I love good South African Bordeaux blends. Colour is rich and dark. Nose is subdued with hints of eucalyptus, earthy tones, and some cherry. Taste gives you subtle flavours of dark fruit, bitter cherries, strawberry, raspberries and wet Tabasco leaf. You get very gentle tannins and medium acidity. This wine benefits from decanting or airing for an hour or so. Overall I was disappointed.
